Konopiště

Just 40 kilometers from Prague, you will find yourself on the territory of a unique historical site. The castle is distinguished by its perfectly preserved walls, interior, and stunning park around the building. The building itself is built in the neo-Gothic style. It was the last residence of the Austrian graph F. Habsburg. As we know from history lessons, the graph's assassination caused the outbreak of the First World War.

Jemniště

The beautiful castle is located about 55 kilometers from the Czech capital. It was built in the 16th century in the Baroque style. Before that, there was a medieval water fortress here. To this day, the building is in private ownership. There are regular excursions, and the doors are open from March to October.

In total, tourists can visit nine different rooms and halls and the Chapel of St. Joseph. The excursion lasts only 50 minutes. However, you can also walk in the beautiful English park, which is located around the castle and occupies an area of more than 14 hectares.

Křivoklát

The castle, built in the Middle Ages, is preserved in excellent condition today. It is under state control, and thousands of tourists regularly visit it. To reach it and visit the unique halls, you need to travel about 60 kilometers from Prague.

This castle is considered one of the oldest residences where Czech princes and kings lived. Excursions are only held from April to November. Tourists can take one of two excursions. The first includes visiting the Gothic palaces, and the second covers the entire castle territory.
